Sweepstakes Casinos in Washington

Sweepstakes casinos are NOT available in Washington State. Washington has some of the strictest gambling laws in the US, with statutes that define online gambling broadly enough to potentially encompass sweepstakes casino models. All major sweepstakes platforms block Washington players as a result. Washington State law (RCW 9.46) defines gambling to include any game of chance for something of value, and the state has historically taken an aggressive enforcement position on online gaming. While this has not been actively enforced against sweepstakes players specifically, all major platforms preemptively block the state.

Washington State residents are unfortunately blocked from sweepstakes casino access due to the state strict gambling laws. Washington does permit tribal casinos and a state lottery, but online options are severely restricted. If you are a Washington resident traveling to neighboring Oregon, Idaho (which also blocks sweepstakes casinos), or Montana, availability varies by state. California and Nevada (for sports only) are alternative destinations.
